DuPont™ Elvaloy® AC34035 Ethylene Methyl Acrylate

Elvaloy® AC 34035 is a copolymer of ethylene and butyl acrylate. It is available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene type resins. Elvaloy® AC 34035 resin complies with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulation 21CFR175.105; Adhesives, for use as a component of articles intended for use in contact with food. These resins must be separated from contact with food by a suitable functional barrier, and the quantity of adhesive which contacts fatty and aqueous foods shall not exceed the trace amount at seams and edges. This resin also complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulation 21CFR176.180; Components of paper and paperboard in contact with dry food, for use as a component of the uncoated or coated food-contact surface of paper and paperboard in contact with dry food (food type VIII, identified in 21CFR176.170(c), Table 1).
