Description
Material Notes:
4 wt% Methacrylic Acid.Nucrel® 0411HS (High-Speed) is an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer resin available for use in conventional extrusion coating, coextrusion coating, and extrusion laminating equipment designed to process polyethylene resins. Formerly Nucrel® RX3988.Features/Benefits vs. Nucrel® 0407: Higher drawability for thinner coatings and/or higher extrusion speeds results in reduced material and/or operating costs. Higher oxidation resistance to prevent off-taste and off-odor formation for fewer taste/odor complaints. Higher thermal stability for easier extrudability and purging, improved extrusion web stability, and reduced gel formation. Higher melt flow index for easier extrusion and/or higher extrusion rates along with higher flow during heat sealing for fewer leakers.Typical Applications: Foil-containing shampoo, toothpaste, towelette, condiment and miscellaneous non-food pouches and sachets; Snack structures; Other foil, metallized film, or paper coatings as a heat seal or tie layer.Information provided by DuPont Packaging Polymers.
