Description

Material Notes:
13 wt% Methacrylic Acid.Nucrel® 1302 is an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer resin available for use in conventional blown and cast film extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene resins.Features & Benefits: Excellent adhesion to aluminum foil. Good adhesion to low-density polyethylene.Typical Applications: Cable shield wrap. Blown film applications requiring functionality of higher acid comonomer content.Processing Nucrel® 1302 is normally processed at melt temperatures ranging from 175-200°C (347-392°F) in blown film equipment. Actual processing temperatures will usually be determined by either the specific equipment or one of the other polymers in a coextrusion. Nucrel® 1302 can also be used in cast extrusions and coextrusions.Information provided by DuPont Packaging Polymers.
