In blends with polyethylenes it is immiscible but easily dispersible. It is mainly used in Hot Melt Adhesives where a higher viscosity level and high SAFT are required. This grade is compatible with a wide variety of non-polar resins and waxes. This resin meets FDA requirements for direct food contact at temperatures up to 100°C under regulation 21 CFR 177.105.Information provided by Montell Polyolefins.LyondellBasell is the successor company to Montell.
